Texas pays serious money for their volleyball recruits. I bet we are so far behind on that front.

Edit: Their official school accounts literally brag about paying money to their female recruits/athletes on Twitter. Same for women's soccer and I'd assume softball.

yeah, but commercials (real NIL) are not even necessary, albeit they can make even more that way. You can just pay the players like the rest of their team.

Not true. We are family friends with one of their key players. What they do have is vastly better outside NIL opportunities than our players. Most of their players have sponsorship deals.

Their players literally post on Twitter about the school's official NIL Fund funded by boosters. Not by private companies but the literal NIL Collective.
