It's interesting because there are moneylines on three outcomes in non-medal games - Team A wins, Team B wins, and a Tie. I have been nickel and diming the soccer games and I am in the black. I will do major betting on college football. That is where the money is.

Tell us about your CFB betting, what's your plan there? A good system can definitely make money.

The risk of draws in soccer definitely changes the dynamics of betting. I would say I put money down on 10 soccer games with two being draws.

I started with $175 for the Olympics and used a systematic approach to betting and essentially nickled and dimed the soccer and basketball games because I did not want to lose money. The vast majority of the wagers were $30 or less. I am up to $279 now with a goal of $300. This would be great seed money for College Football.

You seem to have such good results, why not multiply everything you do by 10?

Please don't encourage him. He's known, and there is a reason no one is engaging this conversation.

Winning wagers on soccer and basketball has been made easier because there have been few upsets when the oddsmakers attributed Monelyines of -200 or greater to favored teams.

I will be using parlays early in the College Football Season because many of the top teams play powder puffs. What is interesting is the compounding in parlays. I am using websites for these metrics:

If a team is favored by 17 points:

1. The moneyline will be -1063.
2. The payout will be $109 for a $100 bet.
3. The payout for a 3-way parlay with the same moneylines will be $131 on a $100 wager.

I can live with that.

I think his success is clearly evident so he should definitely be encouraged. Some people are born winners.

I look for what I call turnaround plays - heavily favored teams losing early. Case in point is Serbia which was favored fell behind Australia in men's basketball today. I put $10 on Serbia winning the game which they did. The payout was $23. I did turnaround plays on Aggie baseball. In both games which they won, a $10 wager gave me payouts of $100. I like the odds and the payouts.

I had fun betting on Olympic soccer and basketball. I made a little money. Now I am shifting to college football. That's where the big money is at. My research has revealed teams that met a certain criteria won 135 out of 137 games last year. Wagering will definitely be an enjoyable process!

You should post your bets after you place them but before the games so we can root along with you!
