Bell, Buescher, Cindric, Suarez, Dillon, Jones, and Berry don't qualify. Blaney had to use a provisional qualifier to make it in. The change really messed with some teams.

I missed the race entirely. I did see where Denny Hamlin has started his "everyone hates me" schtick already. I firmly believe he wants to be NASCAR's bad boy. He's trying so hard he just looks like a chode, though.

I just finished the Netflix nascar series. That'll make you dislike Hamlin even more. I need to keep up with this season more than recent years. Been watching more F1.

Grala raced his way in nipping McLeod. Sucks that a quite a few cars got some damage.

Looking at the weather forecast, the 500 will probably be run on Monday afternoon or evening. It's supposed to rain all day both Saturday and Sunday. I'm in West Palm, and it's the essentially the same forecast here.

Let's see if this race goes off as planned today. I doubt it with an expected 1+ inches of rain predicted for the day.

Seems like the 21 was in the perfect position there to go airborne and it didn't. Improvements to the car are working?

I've got Hamlin's scanner up at moment and he's pissed at the slow pace of race at moment.

I used to listen at home a ton. When I attend the races I always bring my headset or rent one there.
