We've seen GA 3x this year. Who can do the analysis on how this match should go in looking at lineups and previous matches? Im predicting we win 4-2!
It was one of our own fans that slowed Nicole Khirin down. She was cruising 5-0 and he was purposely pushing the buttons of an NCAA ref that was just waiting for an opp to kick him out and penalize us.
She got the opp and did kick him out. And Nicole had to start that game 0-15. It clearly messed up her concentration and cost all our players another 20 mins on court.
Mark even talked to him once and warned that we would get penalized.
Not cool.

All he had to do was wait for the actual bagel and match to finish.
Dang. Didn't hear that while watching. Unfortunately. Glad Nicole could refocus and close her out.
Ended up distracting Mia too. She kept looking that way.

No. Last night I believe was a member on the Mens Team.
Thanks. If it was a member of the mens team, we may soon have an entry into the portal.
My issue with the rule is what is to stop a group of people from getting together and wearing the opposing team colors and then at crucial moments getting this called against them to hand a point to their team. Yes, they get ejected but 4 or 5 points at the right time (like 40-40) could mean the difference between winning and losing.

It was a member of our men's team that is there for the individual tournament.
I do agree that penalizing the team is stupid. Hopefully our guys are smarter today.

Maybe he won't be in the portal but how do you explain yourself after the coach comes to you and tells you to not do it yet you continue and get the team penalized. It would be one thing if it was a single outburst but it sounds like it was repeatedly done.
People make mistakes. Especially when emotions are running high. I would say especially at that age but I see plenty of adults also make mistakes when emotions are at a high.

I was at the other end so I didn't see this go down, but these judges can be nitpicky as hell WHEN THEY CHOOSE TO BE. Hand picked by Shooter McGavin.

The officials were very picky at the regional also. All depends on if the coach can get in their ear. The coaches know if they complain enough, something will get done.
For crying out loud, our player was yelling about a bagel with cream cheese. How is that bad??
Men's Big 12 matches used to allow ANYTHING. These coaches would die in that environment.

Sounds like a coach that knew her team was going to lose if she was focused on that one.
Maybe he was just trying to suggest where to meet for the victory party since there's no Waffle House in this town.
The Tennessee coaches were crying like crazy after they got blitzed in the doubles. Right from the start of the singles they were complaining about the crowd. The men's team was very vocal, but when they got Nicole a point penalty it really changed the momentum of the match and made things far closer than it needed to be. Nicole had won 11 consecutive games up until that point and she barely held on in the end. Could have been disastrous if she didn't hold on and close it out at the 5-3 game. OSU came through with a clutch double fault when the pressure was on.
Where can we watch today? Sorry if already discussed
To be fair, she won 6-2, only lost 2 games in the hiccup. I wouldn't call that barely winning.

She lost 3. Was broken twice. Could have easily been 5-4 if the Vol holds serve.
