these top 3's UTR are so close that it can't be disputed and you still feel extremely comfortable on every court. this information was obtained by a direct source.

Is no doubles for Carson just a first match thing? She's easily our second best doubles player.

Carson's UTR is actually quite a bit higher than Nicole's. I could see that being challenged.

Carson, quite frankly, is the best doubles player on the roster. I can't imagine not using her for the sec and ncaa tournament.

it wasn't directly talked about, however in the discussion it was indefinitely. with that we still had incredible doubles results since the final lineup change. plus with the new singles lineup it would still be in our favor to win 4 singles matches even if we drop the doubles point.

Um. No. Glad to have her for singles, but you cannot leave a doubles player like that on the bench. IMO, that's a huge mistake. Wowser.

i think we count our blessings. when word gets out about this everyone in the country will not want to play us. even Okie st who is having the clear #1 season will sit very uneasy.

I hear you. However, her impact on doubles is just as significant as singles. I'm choosing to believe when crunch time hits, our best lineup will be out there.

Ended up not getting cleared in time I don't believe. Sec tournament and NCAAs for sure. Sunday will be a surprise if she plays. That was a last minute change

I think the week before or of national indoors he moved from the men's team when the women's head and assistant were fired and resigned.

Ok!! Please don't take me wrong as I love the idea of Carson coming back!! However, I wonder if there will be a new rule that prohibits a player from playing all year on a pro tour and then joining a team for SEC tournament and NCAA? Not sure any other sport allows that even if legally enrolled. Will this be a thing of the future? Keep couple girls enrolled but play the tour and then join team for Conference Tournament and NCAA?? Just thinking out loud!

As long as they did not exceed the amount of money allowed as an amateur, they should be fine. Players leave all the time and play pro tournaments during the season, this is technically no different (other than she has not been on the roster).

I think we can look towards WBB as an indicator as to how this could go. Several D1 programs had girls walk on the team this season that were not originally on the roster bc of open spots and teams needs. Were they of Carson's caliber and as impactful? No. Is that too bad for them? Yes. I would think all due diligence has been performed to ensure this is legal. Competing schools will call foul, but if they had this option they'd certainly take it. **The key is that she is an enrolled student.
