Quite the turnaround from Tuesday for Khirin and Fitch at No. 3 doubles .They lost to SMU 6-1 and and won 6-0.
What were these team rankings based on? We won 6-1.

It's a computer ranking system, tons of holes with it. It's not like a coaches poll. They have to have a calculation to try and make singles and doubles ranking accurate. Even then it's messed up

the computerized ranking struggle towards the beginning of the season but halfway through conference play they really do level out (usually). definitely by the end it does a pretty good job at getting it right.

She's an elite singles players and only a sophomore. She'd be playing #1 for #4 Texas if she hadn't transferred and is a big reason we started the year ranked #2.

Texas isn't as good as their ranking, but they've found a way to win the close matches we haven't been able to win. We could have easily beat them, but it won't get easier. Joffe also has the #1 recruiting class coming in next fall.

If Mary returns, and Mark adds one more elite player in singles and doubles, watch out.
