Team responds well after a loss. Counting on that Friday.
This was REALLY embarrassing hockey tonight.

Tonight was an ass whooping. Deboer has a lot of work ahead of him to figure this out.
The Colorado series never felt in doubt. This series will be decided for the Stars in game 5. Have to win it.

Of course Matias ****ing janmark gets a shorty. That dude couldn't fall out of a boat and hit water in Dallas but sure. I knew before the series he'd get at least one to piss us off. Meanwhile nobody on the stars could score on a breakaway if their life depended on it. Suter was awful. Thanks for gifting them the first and second goals. Was pavelski even suited up? Don't remember seeing him at all. If Tanev has a broken ankle or foot this team is cooked.

Not sure when/where the physicality left the stars team. They looked like they were just accepting that Edmonton was going to be the aggressor and not do anything about it.

Harley had such promise and he's been unbelievably terrible.
Hopefully it's just growing pains, but it is so hard to watch him right now.

Tanev going out isn't good, but one guy isn't going to help or hurt, one way or the other as bad as we were tonight. If they don't figure what on God's green Earth is wrong with the power play, Harley and how to get pucks through traffic and on net, you can sign, seal and deliver this one.

Last nights game was perhaps the worst from the Stars in two months. The only other games that bad are maybe the 3-0 loss to Winnipeg or 3-2 loss to Chicago at the end of the season, or maybe the 6-2 ass whipping from NJ in mid-March.

Tanev was seen yesterday in a walking boot at the airport. Needed more "pictures", so it's clearly not an obvious break that initial xrays would have picked up. But I doubt he's in the lineup tonight (fingers crossed though).
Pouliout is the likely choice, since he and Petrovic paired together down in the AHL. Problem is, he hasn't played a game in over a month. Wish they'd give Bichsel a shot. Despite not having any NHL experience, he's played a ton of meaningful hockey lately, has great size, and the kid is good. Besides, it's not like you're going to ask him to play a ton.
The other problem(s) with all of this is that Suter is going to have to play more minutes and Harley is struggling mightily. We really need the team, across the board, to step up tonight. It would also be nice if Otter could steal one for us.

Need to try and lean on being at home. I know we prefer to be on the road, but we got blasted in the last road game so defend home ice damnit.

Then again, DeBoer may just want all of his options ready and he may still be on the fence. Feels like Bichsel is the right play though.
