Saw that. They came roaring out of the gates this season and then the wheels fell off in January. Lost 12 of 15. Don't see cratering like that very often.

Just glad Vegas isn't as good as last year, we went to a couple playoff games last season and they are hands down the most obnoxious hockey fans I have been around. Was painful to watch them win it all!

Vegas is still a solid squad, but they definitely feel like they are a step short of where they have been the past few seasons. I think they are starting to feel some of the huge contracts they've doled out and are getting squeezed a bit.

Looks like CHI is about to be awarded another Winter Classic. It'll be the 17th one overall, CHI's 5th, and only 16 teams have participated in a WC game. Half the teams haven't even had a chance to play in one yet.

This avalanche team is frustrating to follow. It seems like they've come back from being down in the 3rd period at least 10-15 times this year ( twice against us). A few mins ago I checked and they were down 3-1 to the devils and now it's tied.

Pete lit into the boys after the game . If they play like they did tonight , they will get run out of Toronto. Otter was fantastic ….. best game in a long time for him. Going to All Star game and realizing he belongs …… was perfect for the Stars . If Otter can play with that confidence down the stretch , I see a long run in the playoffs.
