I'm hoping Lednicky finds a bit more success as the match moves forward. She had 22 kills in the 5 setter at Florida. Just 5 kills through 2 sets tonight.
Won't be able to set her until we can atleast get a pass to the setter. Meuth is struggling. She's got a big target on her back in serve receive

This is some ugly volleyball. Our block is off, which doesn't help our below average backrow. Setting decisions are also fairly bad tonight.

Same group for us is putting us in a hole to start the 4th. Down 2-6.
They are playing poorly tonight. Lots of free balls, swinging scared. Poor setting isn't helping us against a really good UF block
Tonight is the reason I say we need another setter next year. Nina is having a really bad night, but we have literally no one else to put in for her. She's trapping all of our hitters

Not our night. I have to remind myself this is year one for Coach Morrison. He has spoiled me. I should understand and expect some nights like this.
At the game tonight. Their block won the game. We really didn't have an effective block at all. That was the difference.
Without a solid block, it exposes our defense. Also, facing a strong block, I do feel like we become intimidated too easily.
Missed the game but with that many blocks against us, it seems our hitters are not seeing the block formed in front of them or are pressing too hard. Lednicky pressed hard in a early season match and you could tell. Everyone said she wasnt having fun on court and turned the corner in next few matches.

We were not able to terminate points because our passing and setting was not good. We had a chance to win set 2 and the match income probably would have been different. Florida played inspired defense. Give them credit.

Looks like everything is an ace or a kill at this point. Sloppy. Looks like we didn't want to play today
First group returns and the comeback attempt stalled. Second group gets it back to one. Our first unit has to play better. They constantly lose their time on the court. Same thing happened against Florida a couple of days ago.

The middle blocker is almost always late to get to the outside. I'd much rather them be decisive to the outside and get beat very rarely than pretty much have a solo block every time.
I understood the reason for the change in the starting lineup but totally surprised she hasn't come off the court for any of the time with that group.
