What is crazy about that is that his team will drive and burn up all their matches, destroy the field and once his last teammate is gone, boom off goes Tadej. It is remarkable.

so at the end of the today, straight uphill at 20-24% grade, you're huffin' and puffin', then it turns to gravel and all the dust/dirt in the air so you're getting a mouthful of dirt stuck in your teeth. Who designed this unbelievable route!

I know they're all supporting cast, but I'm still impressed by all the Americans. McNulty was 30 seconds back from the main group. Kuss was only 42 seconds back today.

Steep climbs and descents, with no guard rails on the side of the road. One mistake and you would go flying down the alps the wrong way. I see it every year and I'm continually amazed

The USA cable coverage this year is terrible. Gone are the days of cutting the commercials on the last climb. Love hearing Phil and Bobke but the amount of commercial breaks is just about unbearable.

They usually are, but it used to be ~10-15 minutes of coverage and 5minutes of commercials. It's feeling like a 1:1 ratio now. Missing all the action
