I didn't see any boxing discussion here so I thought I would start my own.

Looking forward to consecutive weeks of great fights; Davis vs Romero should be a banger this weekend; pretty nice co-main as well with Lara vs O'Sullivan.

the week after we've got the huge Kambosos vs Haney showdown down under and a special treat with a tuesday fight between Donaire and Inoue with 3 belts on the line in a sequel to one of the best fights I've ever seen. This could be the best fight of the year.

If you guys want a short brutal fight to watch check out Benavidez v Lemieux from this weekend; absolute domination but amazing heart showed by the loser.

I did watch the Benavidez fight, he's becoming a top fighter in that 168 division! Really excited for that Kambosos vs Haney fight. And just announced GGG vs Canelo! But too bad GGG is already down at least 3rounds in the judges card!

Judges cards have been ridiculous lately, the Bivol scores were 2-3 rounds off, Okole beat Yoka within an inch of his life and had one judge score it a tie, and don't get me started on Catteral-Taylor

Also, Don King and his windows 97 pc that made the advertisement below have won their first million dollar purse bid in decades. Have no clue how he's going to pay it. An undercard full of no names but will be fun to watch Dubois mangle Bryan for his first belt. We'll see if Bryan actually gets his $1,600,000 guaranteed.

Man I didn't even know Don King was still promoting! Hahaha 29.99 ppv!! Woow that's crazy! I don't think I have ever heard of any of those fighters, I really wonder how many sales that's going to make.

Dubois is actually a pretty decent up and comer, Bryan is fell into a major heavyweight belt and is a no one. The rest of the dudes are jokes. Decarree whatever his name and Guidry are 300 pound bouncers who don king trots out whenever he has a ppv event

I just YouTubed Dubois and he's not bad. Maybe he'll get up there and be pretty good. But I really doubt Don King will take him and make him all that famous, but who knows. With boxing, nothing ever surprises me!

Haha he got rocked last night! I really wonder how Davis will do against other big names, he was getting outboxed by Santa Cruz when they fought but of course then he got KO and Romero did hit a couple of good times. Maybe once he leaves Mayweather promotions he'll start fighting other big names.

Seems like he gets outboxed by almost everyone but manages to come up with the KO punch when they make a mistake. He needs to start making some moves at 135 he's ran through the Jv already

Yea he needs to fight some of these big names at 135 already. And hopefully he does. Also, I didn't even know Donaire was STILL fighting, I've been slacking. Hahah guess he still got it!

This Saturday should be a good fight between Haney & Kambosos!!

I would argue that a WBA "Regular" world title is not a major belt.

And it's not a bad argument, the ridiculousness with minor belts is what it is, but it does mean Bryan can call himself heavyweight champion of the world, and commands fairly decent sized purses. Don King through a million at him, but not counting that, Arum offered something like $500k, that's 10x what he would be making if he didn't have the belt.

Garcia called the Haney-Kambosos fight a snooze fest but it couldn't be further from the truth. Haney was an absolute magician in the ring, and I honestly thought he should have won 118-110 on all 3 cards as I can't see more than 2 rounds that Kambosos might have won. Haney's jab, defense and footwork were incredible. I honestly think he picks apart Davis if they fight. Davis hasn't wowed with his boxing IQ and has had to be bailed out by his huge power in several of his last few fights.

Anyone waking up at 5 am to watch Inoue v Donaire II?

I'm honestly not trying to be a contrarian, but I couldn't disagree more. It was a typical boring Haney fight. Yes, he is incredibly talented, but his style is not fan friendly at all (and I'm not talking just casuals). He jabs, but rarely does anything of substance after it (GGG and Spence fight behind a jab but are nasty). Haney has good footwork, but doesn't change angles to attack like Lomachenko. He has excellent defense but doesn't counter punch like Jermell Charlo or Canelo. Even Andrade is more exciting. To each their own, but a Haney fight is like watching paint dry, in my opinion.

Sad times. Had tickets to the Charlo vs Sulecki fight tonight in Houston, but was postponed due to a Charlo back injury.

Jarrell Miller is back! Fighting in Argentina at a whopping 340 pounds. Doesn't say a lot for his mindset during suspension
