I'm curious to see Kailey Littlefield (Lucas Lovejoy) in the 5A 800m again. My wife coached HJ at LJ for 5 years before leaving this year. I've watched her grow up running and she is something else. Both her and Isabel Conde De Frankenberg were 1-2 last year as freshmen and they'll dominant that event till they graduate probably. Would love for her to come down the pipeline to 800m University, but Lovejoy seems to pump all their kids to Arkansas.

That race is going to be fun! Lucas Lovejoy has such a strong distance group! Her and Conde de Frankenburg are going to be fun to watch! They're an interesting duo, both have incredible range! I love how Littlefield is doing the 4x400 for her team! The 800 will be close, I wanna see them take it out fast! Both can go 2:05, if it's a fast fast first lap I got my money on Frankenburg, but if it's a sit and kick race I can see Littlefield winning!

I would die to land Littlefield, Freankenburg, or one of the Morefield sisters from Lovejoy! Texas has produced so much distance talent and its only getting better! Arkansas has 5 texans on their roster and others in the past. These distance kids won't even consider us we could easily have a National cross country women's team, with Floreal at Texas focusing on sprints. We shouldn't be losing to Rice and Abilene Christian. I'm not sure if Littlefield wants to be a 400/800/1500 specialist or focus more on the longer distances, hopefully mid distance for our chances lol.

We (Falls City) have a 300M Hurdler (Reagan Johnson) going for the 3rd straight year. She's gotten the silver twice in 3A and moved in to our school this year. Hoping she can get it done as she is a great athlete and better kid. She is signed with Arkansas to play softball next year. I was fortunate to coach her on the diamond this year as she is as good as advertised. Pretty cool to get to experience coaching a D1 athlete at this level.

My oldest son is engaged to Isa's (Isabelle's) older sister who also went to A&M. We've been watching her for several years now at Cedar Park and she also trained with the same team my son trained with when he was running track and xcountry in high school. She is a high quality kid from a great family. I know the A&M coaches watched her at Texas Relays. Would love her to come run for the good guys.

How amazing and congrats to your son! I've heard many great things about Isa and her family! She's just so dominant in all her events... so it's very hard to predict what she will wanna do. She's so good at cross country as well! I would think she would be amazing at the 1500/5000, but then again as a sophomore he can run a 57 400 and a 2:06 800, so she can literally do it all! It'll depend on how her body matures or how much muscle she gains. But she is gonna he star no matter the event. Looks like the pressure is on you to nudge her in the right direction haha we are all counting on you agmom95

I was looking over some of the results and there was a sophomore 6'6" high jump from 2A that stood out to me. There were also a few underclass girls 13' pole vaulters.

He went out to fast. Had about a 15 meter lead with 50 to go and just petered out with 20 meters to go.

Very much so, Ella Strickland won the pole vault and broke the 2A record with a 13'9, won the 100 hurdles and placed 3rd in the 300 hurdles! Got to see her vault and speak with her family, there's was probably 30 of them there watching lol

Our 300 hurdler, Reagan Johnson, won the gold and set the 2A record. Super happy for her, she finally adds the gold to her two silvers.

Strickland is crazy good. She was at our area meet in Falls City and came in to the vault height that most were going out. Fun to watch.

I heard she is going to a DII school. That's a shame. Plenty of power 5 schools would pay for a 13-9 vaulter.

While it is true that she broke the 2A record that she already held from last year, her vault of 13' 9 1/4" set the all time State meet record across all divisions. She is going to Harding in Arkansas to vault with one of the Coach Hood decedents. Pole vaulting royalty. I talked with two A&M coaches tonight and both said that was a wise choice for someone wanting to focus on vaulting with elite potential. I think she will do great and we will see her in Oregon at the Olympic trials..
