My thoughts on Bubba: It was fine for him to be upset a coupe years ago when someone told him that a noose was found in the garage. It was then absurd for him to keep complaining about it when he learned the truth - that it was a door pull, not a noose. Similarly it was fine for him to be upset today when Larson ran him up the track and into the wall. But it was selfish and despicable for him to retaliate and take out Larson and Bell, who wasn't even involved. He's a loser and a jerk who should be taken out of the car.

Larson handled it well when he was interviewed.

If either or both of those guys were running for a championship then I get it (Gordon v Bowyer)... Neither were.

For that reason, Bubba acted like a little *****. No need to do that in that spot. Just reckless and stupid.

A lot of things to uncover in that incident.

Really disappointing setback for Bubba considering his second half of the year has been impressive on the track.

I guarantee Larson wanted no part of that altercation due in large part to his past transgression. Start fighting the one black dude in the field, and even if justified some moron media member would find a way to link it back to that slip two years ago.

Bubba is a joke. I tried to support him as long as I could because I knew all about his story prior to cup and the 2020 nonsense. That said, objectively he's annoying and not good enough to be annoying.

I watched the videos and can't help but think Bubba Wallace might be the biggest dick in NASCAR. What a *****. Man, I can't stand that guy.

Say whatever you want to about Bubba and what he did. I agree with pretty much all of it. But I like when stuff like this happens in Cup because it creates storylines and drama. As long as nobody gets hurt and I think in this case Larson is fine. (Which is pure luck because it could've been awful- but it wasn't.)

These big name guys get paid a boat load so I'm ok with the risks they take for our entertainment.

There's a reason Nascar was so popular back in the day and it wasn't because everybody was friends and raced each other clean.

Completely agree with all of that. But on the heels of Kurt and Bowman it's not a good look. There's no getting around that. It also ****ed up a guy in Bell who is still in the playoffs.

If he wanted to retaliate he should have waited and not gone down to hook someone at 195mph right in the middle of the pack.

To me you can't have the drivers complain about their safety concerns then intentionally wreck some at 180 mph. I'm not saying you can't retaliate, but if you're going to wreck them do it at Martinsville or Bristol where they don't have the speed or if you can't wait then just pancake them.

I've missed the last few races so this will be the first one I've seen in a while. That alone will make it fun. Also, since I have no rooting interest like the Astros or Aggies, I'll get to relax and enjoy.
