Skateboarding making its debut and it was great to watch. My teenager watched with me explaining moves. I actually enjoyed watching this. Really talented athletes!

Such a far cry from watching punk rock skate videos back in my day. Wonder if I can still do a kick flip.

It seemed like a lot of the stairs amd other obstacles didn't leave a lot of room for rolling out after landing. Saw several guys smoke the next ramp or what not after landing.

My only compliant was the announcers not explaining what the moves were. I knew some from playing Tony Hawk 20 years ago, but a lot of times I had no idea what the announcer was referring to.

You want to see a bad wreck compilation, watch the welcome to hell wreck compilation on YouTube. Fair warning there are broken bones, including a neck and a very brief scene of a guy showing black and blue testicles. It's absolutely brutal.

I enjoyed the street skating, but I think the park competition will be way more entertaining for the casual viewer.

The girl who got silver is only 12! It was pretty clear Sky Brown and the 3 Japanese girls were in a league of their own.

Didn't catch them but agree, the mid 20s and 30s types had absolutely zero chance. I cant imagine being that good at anything at 12 or 13. Just wild.
