Such a weird crash. Sounded like he got out of the gas just fine and then when he downshifted all of a sudden it went full throttle. My guess is some nasty nasty electrical gremlins.

Race control strikes again

Rossi gets boned with the Rosie wreck and Power gets screwed by race control. If my drivers didn't have terrible luck they'd have none at all.

Is tennis match ever going to be over? What do those scores mean anyway.

Agree 100%. He is posing a danger to the other drivers at this point. If he still wants to race Indy cars, he needs to go down in the ranks and join the others hoping to move up through Indy Lites, etc. At this point, he is just a novelty and media *****.

O'Ward drove the wheels off that car and Newgarden did a great job hanging on to his. Fun race.

However, one of my mates had to drop out so I have an extra 3-day reserved grandstand pass. If I re-list it on Ticketmaster I risk them canceling the entire group due to 'rona restrictions and social distancing nonsense. But if anyone on here is interested in the ticket let me know.

Rumors abound that HyVee will step up to full-time sponsorship for the #45 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team, adding a full-time third car.

In addition, HyVee will sponsor a doubleheader at Iowa Speedway bringing the oval count back up to 5, for next season.

I think 5 ovals is a good number. I'd like to see Arrow-Mclaren add a full-time third car, and for COTA to return to the schedule

Your first wish has a reasonable chance of happening. A few guys in the mix: Felipe Nasr, Kevin Magnussen (commitment to WEC in 2022 but Free Agent for 2023), Jenson Button (road and street only), and Jack Harvey have all been mentioned as possibilities.

CotA can't happen simply sue to FIA requirements about the maximum number of non-F1 sanctioned events at an F1 circuit. (Dumb rule, but whatever).

I'd like to see Richmond back, Milwaukee, Watkins Glen, and Pocono added back. Pocono won't happen because of safety, but I feel like the series needs one more Superspeedway. Fontana is about to be turned into a short oval so that may be an option in the future. Would be nice if IndyCar and International Speedway Corp. (NASCAR-owned) would play nice, but IndyCar learned about ten years ago that ISC/NASCAR sabotage their events (no promotion).

For the sake of the racing fan, all these entities need to pull their collective heads out of their asses.

Colton Herta looks to just have this track down much better than anybody else so far.

Herta definitely has this place figured out better than anyone else.

Based on practice and qualifying I'm expecting a very sloppy race tomorrow, lots of wall slapping and yellow flags. Also, apparently the construction contractor still hasn't finished assembling one of the grandstands on the main straightaway..yikes

McLaren purchasing majority stake in Arrow McLaren SP for next season. I think this is great for IndyCar. F1 fandom is blowing up in the US and this would help create a bridge between the two series for some fans
