I can understand it's less than ideal (rainy, cool, windy), but other athletes have to deal with it. You never know what conditions you'll have to encounter at Regionals/Prelim or Finals. Two or three years ago there was that lightning delay at regionals. UH ran their CR in the 4x1 on a wet track. Now is the time to figure out what you need to do so you can make things work and get a good enough time to advance.
Full disclosure, I ran 13 miles in the rain this morning testing out my new rain shell, so I'm already inclined not to feel bad for them.
