Ineos booted Froome and Thomas off of their the TdF team.

Really looking forward to watching it. Kinda pulling for one of the young French riders to rise up and win it all.

As I say that he gets dropped... Also I didn't realize Alaphillippe lost yellow because of a penalty. Must have missed that yesterday.

A dumb penalty. 20 seconds for getting a water bottle late in the stage. Dumb rule and dumb move

I heard today that they changed the penalty zone from the last 20 km to the last 15 km.

TdF officials are consistently inconsistent

Sagan got screwed yesterday. He definitely leaned on Wout van Aert which I admit is against the rules. But Van Aert didn't hold his line. He squeezed Sagan down at the same point where one of those barriers was located so Sagan either had to lean or he had to brake. But applying the rules like the did here the commissars are saying that it's okay to squeeze someone because the squeeze victim has to brake. Absurd.

Powless is pushing today

I have been very impressed by Kuss and Powless.

I feel like Kuss has been the rock that Roglic has built his performance on. The entire Jumbo team has been crazy good this race, but Kuss is always the final leadout for Roglic to bring him home.

He has been so good in these high mountain stages.

Best tour stage ever?
