I was really impressed by Charokee Young in the 800. She took the lead in the first lap, got passed by 2 runners in lap 2, and then held off the Florida runner at least 3 times to get 3rd place. Tyra Gittens had the most points of any athlete with 21. The men may do well at nationals since they have a decent shot to win the 400, 800 and 4 x 400 relay.

I think the women will do better. Gittens and Acquah can get us 30 points then Stevenson, Richardson and the 4x4 can get us in the 40s to compete for a championship.

The men would have to go 1-2 in the 400 and 800 to have a chance to win. Orange didn't look good this weekend so I'm not sure he's a scorer at indoors and his leg on the 4x4 wasn't great.

I just noticed that kyree Johnson was not on the roster. He was one of the legs on last yearsv2,59 outdoor team. Dewit Thomas not on as well. He was the one of the legs at NCAA prelims.

for some reason i believe they're redshirting? and will be available for outdoors, i am not sure as to why but both will help us point wise definitely if healthy!

DeWitt is out of indoor eligibility. I don't know what's up with Kyree.

you're right! Orange shortened and almost lost the lead Bryce and Jamal accumulated. You'd hope he could lead off in nationals. and maybe getting Kyree or Dewitt outdoors can help take over that leg.

That was a strange race in the women's 4 X 400 for the Aggies. Shoe came untied on first leg which put us behind and then we didn't appear to put much effort in the rest of the race in trying to make up ground. It wasn't really important to the standings as we weren't in contention and nationals is what we are looking toward. It was just something of an anti-climatic finish in what is usually an exciting event.

Word on the street is DeWitt has been training really, really well. I could easily see him taking over the fourth spot on the relay so Orange can concentrate more on his 800 once we move outside. I think the Ags can run 2:58 outside this year.

Deadmon, Walton, and Dixon on outdoor track should all be below 45 without a doubt!

Does anyone know when the entries for nationals come out?

It'll probably be out in a couple days; usually the declarations and accepted entries are around 10 days before the championship.

I think our triple and long jumpers have a potential to score big points outdoors this year, but we need to be a little more consistent. Except for a few, most of the our jumpers foul more then 75% of their jumps. They definitely have to clean up the foul jumps.

I hope that Lamara Distin from Jamaica compete outdoors in the High and Triple Jumps

Men 400m hurdlers should do well also with Infinite Tucker, Dewitt Thomas, Thomas Burns, Tyler Hart. Not sure if Adre Turay will double in 110m and 400m hurdles

forgot about the 400 hurdles, Dewitt and Infinite have a shot at national point there, and we also have points coming in the Javelin as well! Going to be a great outdoors season!
