Some observations from the meet:
1) Big throw by Bartlett to win the shot put on the final throw. That allowed the men to win the meet.
2) Liked the performance from our woman sprinters. I also saw Ally Watt leaving Gilliam as I left. Hopefully, she can join the team soon.
3) We need some men's short sprinters, but we have a good 400 group.
4) Fray had a great mile beating Montoya. Willard had a good mile but it seemed like she kept getting caught up behind someone preventing her from really challenging.
5) Nice to see Cook back. With 10 guys from the top 16 at indoors last year moving on, he has a good chance to grab some points for us.
6) Cragin nearly cleared 7'2". I think he gets it by the end of the year.
7) Wyatt was a little off but still vaulted 17'5". Wooten needs to return to his early season form from last year.
8) Victor looked good for his first action of the season. Malouf will be good eventually, but it looks like he needs some work on the vault.
9) We missed out on Aaliyah Miller - that was a smooth 2:06 she ran. We had got an early 800 preview when she (53.2) and Fray(53.5) ran a 400 leg against each other.
10) De Souza, from Baylor, looked impressive. She was DQed in the open 400 with a 52.+ then anchored Baylor's 4x4 with 51.8. Early on it looks like her and Gordon are the 400 favorites.

Wish I could use the remote flash that the athletic dept photographers get to use. Seems like the overall lighting gets dimmer at each meet.

Wil London taunting Robert on the first leg of the 4x400 makes me laugh, especially since A&M got the lead back in the second leg and Baylor's third leg really fell off the pace.

Fray going 4:44 in the mile and 53 in the 400 is insane. Also, our men's 4x4 is really good right now and it can be even better. Women's DMR record will get destroyed with Willard and Fray on it.
