Both Triin and Alia had awesome meets at Short Course Worlds, and both made multiple finals.

This is kinda what I was talking about in other threads. Two Aggies make WC finals, and Aggie Athletics doesn't even come up with a paragraph about it. That's the kind of thing that Kim Brackin would be riding all the way to the bank.

Also, in peripheral good news, Triin's boyfriend, Peter Mankoc, survived hurricane Lochte to hang on to his 100 IM World Record. Didn't final in the event, but his record stayed alive when most expected it to be crushed.

AgBlastoff - I agree about highlighting our former swimmers. But I am a broken record here about how A&M DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO MARKET ITSELF.

She certainly was through Nationals...based on her performance there, I'm not sure she still is. With the depth the USA has in the 200 free, I don't think she's in the mix for 2012.

AGBlastoff- What is going on with Sean Hutchinson? Was he set up? Will he go back to King?

Who was he giving private lessons to?

Nobody's saying much yet that I've heard...it's all been very sudden and unexpected. The feeling all along was that FAST was a temporary gig for him, and possibly that the allegations accelerated the time-table. He retained his ownership stake in King and remained CEO, but his comments indicate that he wants to start something entirely new. Not sure the rules on being a part owner and CEO of one club and also running another club (though his FAST situation was different), but could possibly start a King offshoot?

That's the million dollar question. Thus far, the consensus has been that with the new USA-Swimming rules that are in place, if there was anything real going on, nobody would have any issues if they approached USA Swimming about it, so the fact that no official complaint has been made there leads me to believe that it's a lot of rumor.
