Going to a Dallas Hockey Game soon.

Never been to one before - my wife was curious how to dress. Is the stadium very cold inside because of the ice? Or is it not noticeable?

yes it's a bit chilly. if she's like most women, tell her to bring a jacket.

I double what was said above. You'll probably be ok, she'll probably be cold. The nice thing is that it's not cold because of, say, Air conditioner so much, so there's not the air blowing cold that sucks. It just feels cool and crisp.

So, if your wife is like most women, she'll probably whine about being cold and want to leave in the middle of the second period.

Ok. Didn't know if we needed to wear jackets. She was afraid that if she wore shorts she would freeze.

I'll just have her bring a jacket and wear pants.

I've always found layering to work well. She'll be cold in shorts.

Depends on where you sit. Lower level might be a bit cold, but upper level is usually no different than other AAC events.

well since the ice is ALWAYS there, it would make sense that it would be the same as other AAC events...

It's totally irrelevant as to where he's sitting. The fact of the matter is that it's a sporting event, and assuming that his wife is a woman, she WILL be too cold, unless she wears a sweater and jeans, then she'll be too hot, and either way, unless they're in a suite where she can watch something else on the TV and chow down on free food the whole came, she's going to whine about something and want to leave early.
