Thoughts? Seems like a good pickup for the Coogs and a great opportunity for him to head up a program.

He was awesome as an assistant. One of the better coach's in the country from a golf knowledge standpoint. He'll do well in houston.

The real question is does UH still cling to enough of a reputation with the new generation to be able to revive any level of success, even with a good coach?

This is a tangent, but is related to our golf program. How do the very serious financial troubles at the Traditions Club impact Aggie golf, if at all?

"serious financial troubles"

What are these? I know about the early issues but is there something of late? I searched The Eagle's website but couldn't find anything. I assume, if there is some trouble with the overall development it wouldn't affect the course and the practice facility.

It was the cover story in the Houston Business Journal 2 weeks ago. Apparently the amenities weren't delivered as promised, few homes sold relative to supply and the development promised hasn't taken place. As I recall from the article some individuals have bought it at a huge discount from the lender.

Looks like this is the article. I'm guessing things are fine with regards to the golf teams.
