It just amazes me that Phil has the whole crowd supporting him, the guys he's competing with have no business being near the top of a major championship leaderboard, and still he can't close the deal on a U.S. Open.

Not to take away from Glover, but Phil had the "mo" after the eagle and blew it yet again.

its Phil at the US Open, it always seems to happen...I feel bad for him though, I was really rooting for him for this one

I feel awful, but his wife's health is more important I think to everyone..Get better AMY!! You have my thoughts and prayers.

It's too bad Phil wasn't able to hold on, I was really pulling for him. I wish his wife and family the best of luck and hope to hear good news from them on that front. I've gotta give my congratulations to Glover, when Phil and Duval tied it he was able to keep his nerves at bay and get the pars he needed. Hopefully Duval can build some momentum of this and keep playing well, I would love to see him make it back to being one of the top players again.
