While we wait for some updates, lets talk about the team and upcoming dates...


The lineup today is most likely what you will see throughout the year. I would expect to also see some time from freshman, Sara Hemingway.

This is an extremely talented team and should make it far in post-season play. We should easily make it into Regional play and a spot in the Finals is not out of the question. This is a very young team and should make for some outstanding performances throughout the year. I know that people always get frustrated with the term, "watch out for next year", but this team will be smoking next year. However, the reason we are here is not to talk about next year but about this year.

Those of you that have kept up with the ladies over the past years should recognize most of the tourneys that we have scheduled because the Aggies have always entered into the most challenging tourneys that are available.

As you have already seen, we have started '08 off in Cali on a very familiar course, Palos Verdes Golf Club in the Northrop Grumman Reg. Challenge. This tourney is considered a premier venue with some of the best teams in the country playing. In fact, the entire field of 15 is ranked in the top 40 in the nation.

Next we go to the Central District Invitational on the other side of the country in Florida. We will be looking to repeat and bring home the same championship this that we won last year.

After playing on the beach in Florida, we come home to our very own, "Mo"Morial. We will look to get back on our home field winning ways afetr the hickup of last year.

We clsoe the season in Georgia and Arizona at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic and the PING/ASU Invitational. Both tourneys always bring the best of both coasts to play and should make for some great competition prior to the Big XII Tournament.

This year's Big XII Tourney will be hosted by Oklahoma State in Stillwater, OK. The Aggies will enter the tourney as back to back winners and will look to make it a three-peat.

Next will hopefully be the "Central" Regional which will be hosted by tu this year in Austin, TX. We should easily make a regional and hopefully the Central is where we will be. The committee has always done a pretty good job of placing teams in their respected regions. However, I have seen some crazy things before.

After qualifying for the finals in the regionals, we will be making our way to Albuquerque, N.M. for the Championships!

It was a tough day for the Aggies. They ended up finishing in 10th place. Congrats to Danielle and Lauren tho. They both tied for 18th which was a great job considering the strength of the field.
