R.C. Slocum to be honored with statue outside Kyle Field
Texas A&M University is set to unveil a bronze statue of former head football coach R.C. Slocum on Friday, Sept. 4, ahead of the Aggies' home opener against Missouri State. In 14 seasons as A&M's head coach, Slocum won 123 games and is the program's all-time winningest head man.
