The Texas A&M System Board of Regents named Dr. Susan Ballabina as the sole finalist for the job of president at Texas A&M University on Monday. Former State Sen. Tommy Williams has served as Interim President since Oct. 3, following Mark A. Welsh III's resignation on Sept. 19.

On Friday, the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents appointed former State Sen. Tommy Williams as Interim President of Texas A&M University. This appointment comes after Dr. James Hallmark served as "acting president" following the resignation of Mark A. Welsh III on Sept. 19.
