Mike Elko and his staff just hosted their first big-time high school recruiting weekend, welcoming a strong group of local and national prospects for the Lone Star Elite Day on Saturday. Already a success, the weekend produced a commitment and plenty of other positives.

2028 Detroit (MI) Cass Tech standout QB Donald Tabron II visited College Station during the season, and over the weekend, he was back for Texas A&M's Lone Star Elite Day. He spent time with new OC Holmon Wiggins and QB coach Joey Lynch, and afterward, he spoke to TexAgs about his trip.
