In December, Jamie Morrison was hired as Texas A&M's seventh head volleyball coach. Bringing nearly two decades of experience at the collegiate, international and professional levels, Morrison joined TexAgs Radio to express his excitement to get started.

The Maroon & White earned its fifth victory of the year after sweeping Sam Houston on Tuesday, 3-0. For the first time this season, a trio of Aggies tallied double-digit kills in a single match with Logan Lednicky leading the way at 18 and the team posting a season-best 51.

The Aggies fall to 1-2 on the young 2022 season after being swept yet again to close out the Texas A&M Invitational against the sixth-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers. Caroline Meuth's efforts earned her an all-tournament team selection.

Continuing the Texas A&M Invitational, No. 25 San Diego swept the Aggies in three sets. Caroline Meuth and Logan Lednicky led the Aggies registering eight kills a piece, but the Maroon & White could not come up with a defensive answer for the Toreros' firepower.
