The Texas A&M defense showed out again on Saturday at AT&T Stadium, limiting Arkansas' offense to a mere 174 yards of total offense while totaling seven sacks along the way. With the 34-22 victory in the Southwest Classic, the Aggies improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the SEC.

Due to COVID-19 issues within the Aggie program, No. 25 Texas A&M cannot partake in the 2021Gator Bowl with No. 17 Wake Forest, and the bowl game is searching for a replacement. It marks the first time A&M will not play in a bowl game since 2008.
