Joel is a junior from Longview, Texas. He started working with TexAgs in the fall of 2018 as an intern and a publisher. Joel is studying Psychology and hopes to one day pursue his masters in Physician Assistant studies. He has worked in the past as a high school baseball umpire, a pharmacy technician, and a physical therapy aide. A lifelong sports fan, he can often be found in distress over failures and letdowns from Dallas’ four major sports teams.

After a solid opening to the season, the A&M pitching staff struggled on Wednesday night, allowing five earned runs on 15 hits. The Aggies' bats showed some life but they weren't able to climb out of the hole after the Cardinals' four-run fifth inning.
