After a 1-1 week against top-10 opponents, Texas A&M rose to No. 15 in the Week 3 AVCA Poll.

Up four spots from No. 19, the week served as a reminder that Jamie Morrison teams are capable of turning things on quickly.

After going 0-4 against ranked foes to start the season, a trip to Kissimmee, Fla., offered another opportunity against a perennial power in Stanford.

In Kyndal Stowers’ third game back, she was one of four in double figures as A&M took down then-No. 4 Cardinal. Kirra Musgrove distributed her most efficient offense yet with 44 assists as the Aggies hit at a .344 clip.

It was a quick turnaround for the Maroon & White as then-No. 6 Wisconsin came to town. In front of a packed crowd, the Aggies came up just short in a five-setter but showed their ability to hang around with the best.

Despite a split result this past week, A&M is taking steps in the right direction.

Volleyball is a game of slim margins, and a few red zone errors can be the difference between a win and a loss. In the fourth and fifth sets, three red zone miscues plagued the Aggies down the stretch.

Up next, A&M will face SFA on Tuesday and No. 20 Creighton on the road on Sunday.
