While Texas A&M's offense may have sputtered some in the opening 30 minutes, the Aggies found their footing in the second half and rolled to a 50-point victory in Week 1. However, now the common "biggest improvements come from Week 1 to Week 2" line comes into play as Arizona State is on deck.

Every year is different, but it is hard not to compare this year’s offense to last year’s. Everyone wanted to see the jump from Marcel Reed, Holmon Wiggins’ play-calling ability and how quickly the offensive line can mesh. This offense was a big reason for a Playoff berth last year, but it also sputtered in the games that mattered most. Some red flags popped up last season against Missouri State, but there were noticeable improvements as well.
