- There are extreme examples of a team being up so much that all you have to do is run the football, so you change your game plan completely. Sometimes, it's the opposite, you'll be up comfortably, and so you become conservative and the offense sputters. You'll have a few three-and-outs and the momentum shifts. You have to maintain who you are as an offense. You need to aggressively call plays.
