- The bar for Texas A&M needs to be 8-4. The schedule is going to be much more difficult than the last two years. Mike Elko has exceeded expectations in the last two years. A&M was top in the SEC at the end of the year in both years. That was partly due to a weak schedule relative to SEC standards. Now, A&M plays nine conference games with the addition of Arizona State, which is different than our normal non-conference layup game.
