After dropping a game earlier on Saturday afternoon, Trisha Ford and the Aggies responded perfectly by beating UConn at Davis Diamond in the night session, 10-3. With the win, Texas A&M advances to the regional final, where the Ags need to beat Arizona State twice to stay alive.

1. Immediate response. Following a 4-3 loss to Arizona State, Texas A&M took the field vs. UConn with plenty at stake. The Aggies scored as soon as they could.

A sequence of a hit-by-pitch, single, fielder’s choice, single, single, walk and wild pitch to score a runner plated three in the opening frame. It was UConn starter Sydnee Koosh who felt the wrath of a mad Aggie lineup. She managed in the rest of the early frames until she struggled to find the zone in the fourth.
