Key notes from Emiley Kennedy interview

  • My team in Japan is very accommodating. Ally Carda and I have a translator. She’s always with us and talks to the coaches. Not very many of the coaches speak English. Thankfully, a lot of the players do know quite a few words softball-wise. I also have a tutor, so I’m learning Japanese myself. That’s been challenging, but the communication part is doable.

  • Going to Japan was something I talked to my GM at the Bandits about.
