Elko & Co. carry recruiting momentum into spring contact period

It was a productive spring for Texas A&M, both on the field and on the recruiting trails, as Mike Elko & Co. have plenty of momentum on their side. With 12 commitments in the class of 2027 already, the inroads made during this spring should help the Ags in their quest toward the nation's top spot.

Spring ball 2026 is in the books, and what a spring it was for Texas A&M’s recruiting momentum.

Every week this spring, the Aggies hosted top recruits from across the country. Every week, there were highly-touted standouts across multiple recruiting classes. Every week, the coaches and staff went to work. There were no wasted weekends.

The work is already paying off, just look at the numbers in 2027.
