Ball Five: Ags use clutch hitting and zone domination to beat Texas

Whether it was throwing strikes, getting out in clutch situations or always answering a score with offense of their own, Texas A&M had the upper hand on the rival Longhorns for what felt like the entirety of the two-game series at Blue Bell Park. It all resulted in a sweep for the Aggies.

Texas A&M baseball took full advantage of a packed house at Blue Bell Park in what was a sweep of the two-game series against Texas. The series finale was canceled due to inclement weather, but the way the Ags were pitching and hitting on Friday and Saturday certainly inspired confidence that the Sunday game was up for grabs. A&M’s bats did more damage vs.
