1. Courtney Walker is going to be VERY good for this A&M team for years to come. I have watched her play three times and she is the real deal. She plays hard at both ends of the court and has the confidence to prove how good she is. The thing I like most about her is that she plays the same way no matter if she is play UCONN or Liberty. Walker only knows one speed and that is a problem for the A&M opponents! Courtney ended the game with 20 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and a steal, but one of the biggest factors is her defense. She isn't afraid to guard anyone and takes it as a challenge.

2. In the absence of Lexi, Adrienne Pratcher stepped up and had a good game. She looked confident with her shot and ran the team as a veteran player should. Pratcher is going to win some games for the Ags this year during conference play. She is a vital factor in the development of these young guards and while she isn't getting the playing time she most likely wants, she means a lot to this team. Gary has done a good job keeping her focused and ready to go when called upon.

3. Jordan Jones has some quick feet and even quicker hands. She showed some flashes of what is to come in the future. While Jordan only saw the court for 12 minutes, she was the most productive player during her time in the light as she finished with 6 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 rebound and no turnovers. Her attitude, personality and demeanor on the court will be fun to watch as she continues to grow as a player and person under Coach Blair and this staff.

4. The Ags forced Liberty into 22 turnovers that resulted in 29 points for the maroon and white. It was a great all-around game for A&M as they had 21 assists for their 32 made shots. They won the battle of the boards, including snagging 17 offensive rebounds and they only turned the ball over 12 times. The Ags beat Liberty in every statistical category, including points in the paint, points off turnovers, second chance points, fast break points, bench points, rebounds, steals, assists, blocks... you get the point.

5. Gary Blair's freshmen combined to play 76 total minutes against Liberty and in those 76 minutes, they only accounted for three of the Aggies' 12 turnovers. That is a stunning statistic. To have a group of newcomers so poised and steady is unheard of. They continue to grow and learn and while there will be bumps in the road - just like the men are experiencing - they will get better with each game.
