On Monday, Callie Garner took us Around Aggieland as two Aggies are set for NBA Summer League action as they look to earn G League spots. Meanwhile, coach Jamie Morrison guided Team USA to gold at the U19 Pan Am Cup, continuing his international success.

Basketball
Texas A&M’s all-time leading scorer Wade Taylor IV has signed a summer league deal with the Milwaukee Bucks and will compete in Las Vegas from July 10–20. He will look to earn a spot on the Bucks’ G League roster.

Joining him in NBA Summer League action is fellow former Men’s basketball player Zhuric Phelps, who signed with the Dallas Mavericks. Phelps will also aim to secure a G League spot during the Las Vegas competition.

Volleyball
Texas A&M head volleyball coach Jamie Morrison led the U.S. U19 women’s national team to a gold-medal finish at the Pan American Cup over the weekend. Team USA swept Mexico in Saturday’s final — their fourth sweep of the tournament — and outscored opponents by a combined 75 points across five matches.

The Americans went 5-0 and dropped just one set en route to the title. The victory marks Morrison’s fourth consecutive international gold as a head coach.

Women’s Tennis
Carson Branstine’s Wimbledon debut ended Monday with a first-round loss to World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. Sabalenka claimed the opening set 6-1 and held off a late push from Branstine to take the second 7-5.
