2026 Fort Bend Marshall ATH Kaeden Johnson commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has gone back into one of Houston's most talent-rich football programs to land their latest commitment in the class of 2026 as Fort Bend Marshall athlete Kaeden Johnson has announced his intentions to continue his career in Aggieland.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder becomes the 15th pledge for Mike Elko this cycle.
Johnson has been a two-year starter at quarterback for the Buffalos, but he's coming to College Station to join the tight end room. The coaching and recruiting staff kept revisiting his tape and overall athletic profile as they combed through the most intriguing measurables of players who reside in the Lone Star State. His highlight tape at QB clearly depicts some of those eye-catching traits for a prospect of Johnson's frame. When combining the movement patterns and explosiveness on the gridiron with his acumen and abilities on the basketball floor, where he stars for one of the more talented teams in Houston, the Aggie coaching staff decided the total package was worth indexing on.
Here's a look at his junior highlights.
Johnson chose the Aggies over offers from Washington State and Colorado, who both pursued him as a quarterback.
