Texas A&M adds former Auburn TE Micah Riley via transfer portal
The Aggies have bolstered their tight end room for 2025 today with the transfer portal addition of former Auburn tight end Micah Riley.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and has spent his last three seasons at Auburn. His offer list coming out of Bellevue West in the class of 2022 included the likes of Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, and many others.
On The Plains, Riley turned into a weekly contributor after his freshman season which only saw him feature in four contests. In the following two campaigns, he played in all 25 games for the Tigers and was primarily used as an edge-setting, end-of-the-line blocker and only logged three catches for 43 yards and one touchdown.
Riely’s addition to the Texas A&M roster is highly likely to be in a similar role along the line of scrimmage or perhaps as an H-Back — a role that was featured often during the 2024 season.
Stay tuned. We'll have more on the Aggies' latest portal move for our TexAgs Premium subscribers.
