Around Aggieland (10/21)
On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as fall sports continue. Football beat Mississippi State, volleyball hosted a pair of matches and much more.
Football
Texas A&M remains No. 14 in the AP Poll after Saturday’s 34-24 win over Mississippi State, setting up a massive top-15 showdown vs. LSU to see who will claim sole possession of first place in the Southeastern Conference.
The Aggies will take on the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on ABC.
Volleyball
After getting swept by Florida on Friday, A&M volleyball returned to the win column with a comfortable 3-1 win vs. Arkansas on Sunday at Reed Arena.
Logan Lednicky and Emily Hellmuth combined for an impressive 34 kills with Lednicky recording her 1,000th career kill.
Next, the Aggies will face the No. 7 Texas Longhorns on Wednesday. First serve is set for 7 p.m. CT.
Soccer
Four second-half goals were split evenly on Friday night at Ellis Field as Texas A&M drew Louisiana State in the Aggies' second to last home match of the 2024 season. For the Maroon & White, MaKhiya McDonald and Sydney Becerra scored the goals.
On Thursday, Guerrieri & Co. will travel to Fayetteville to face the No. 4 Razorbacks. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.
Softball
A large crowd was on hand at Davis Diamond on Friday night as Texas A&M hosted archrival Texas for a fall exhibition, which ended in a 12-6 Aggie victory. Trisha Ford & Co. are looking to build on a 2024 season that saw them reach an NCAA Tournament super regional.

Men’s Golf
Texas A&M men's golf team fended off the host and claimed the title at the Furman Intercollegiate. The Aggies finished the tournament at 23-under 829 to win their first title of the 2024-25 season.
Women’s Golf
The No. 15 Texas A&M women's golf team finished fourth at the White Sands Invitational at the Ocean Club Golf Course Sunday behind the first top-10 finish of Lauren Nguyen's career.
