Week 4 is behind us. We’re not even at the midpoint of the college football season, so there is plenty of time to turn this ship around. I’m attacking this board with pure vengeance. I’ve got plenty of plays for you in Week 5.

*Numbers are subject to change*

Aggie of the Week

WR Cyrus Allen
MORE THAN 34.5 Receiving Yards
Texas A&M has not thrown for over 200 passing yards in four straight games. That will change this week. If you take away FCS opponents, this banged-up Arkansas secondary would rank in the bottom quartile in the country in passing yards allowed per game while having a run defense in the top 25 in most basic metrics. The Aggies are going to need to find success through the air, and it will likely come from Cyrus Allen, especially if Arkansas’ Jaylon Braxton and Hudson Clark both miss another game.

Lineup of the Week

Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears
MORE THAN 0.5 Passing Yard
Bang.

Travis Hunter, WR, Colorado
MORE THAN 0.5 Rush + Rec TD
This number is on the board once again, and I will scoop it up. Hunter didn’t score a touchdown last week. However, in other markets, this number has an implied probability of over 60 percent. That is an absolutely absurd number. Not to mention, even with a solid defensive line and rushing defense, UCF has been susceptible to good passing attacks this year...not that Colorado even tries to run the ball when they throw the ball 63.60 percent of the time (fourth in the country).

Alex Orji, QB, Michigan
MORE THAN 40.5 Rushing Yards
Orji got his first start against USC last week and only put the ball in the air 12 times. Orji is a dynamic playmaker who can do a lot of damage on the ground. Minnesota has a front seven that is beyond slow and utterly terrible. Iowa just ran for over 200 yards against this Golden Gopher team on the road. I think that there are plenty of yards to be had by this Michigan backfield.

Devin Neal, RB, Kansas
MORE THAN 103.5 Rushing Yards
Neal has hit this mark in three of the four games he has played in this year. With the recent struggles of Jalon Daniels, Kansas is going to have to continue to rely on Neal to produce a respectable offense. TCU also hasn’t been so flattering as a run defense. They’re allowing 176 yards on the ground per game as well as 4.2 yards per carry. The Andy Avalos experiment for TCU isn’t working out in the way that the Frogs had hoped, and I can imagine that Neal will be giving him even more nightmares after this week.

Jaylin Lane, WR, Virginia Tech
MORE THAN 43.5 Receiving Yards
I found that this number is at 50.5 in another market. I have a feeling that this number is so low on PrizePicks because of the potential weather coming into Miami on Friday night from the hurricane hitting the Southeast. However, the hurricane is supposed to pass by the time kickoff rolls around at 7:30 p.m. ET. Given that the spread for that game is Miami -19.5, the chance for a negative gamescript and lots of passes is very high.

Other Dawson Selections

RJ Harvey, RB, UCF - MORE THAN 77.5 Rushing Yards

  • Discounted Player Square

Kalel Mullings, RB, Michigan - MORE THAN 80.5 Rushing Yards
Bryson Daily, QB, Army - MORE THAN 105.5 Rushing Yards
Daniel Jackson, WR, Minnesota - MORE THAN 47.5 Receiving Yards
Josh Hoover, QB, TCU - MORE THAN 300.5 Passing Yards

Alan Bowman more than 0.5 Int is essentially a Caleb Williams style freebie?

And yes, I did make this in my cellular and molecular biomechanics class, as is customary.
