Football end road skid at Florida, 33-20
Behind 488 yards of total offense, Texas A&M claimed its first conference win of the 2024 season and the Mike Elko era, dominating Florida 33-20.

Notables:

  • Texas A&M rushed for 310 yards, marking the first time to rush for 300-plus yards in consecutive games since 2012 when the Aggies totaled 352 yards at Auburn and 361 yards at Mississippi State.
  • The Aggies limited Florida to just 52 rushing yards in the game, making it back-to-back games of keeping their opponent in double-figures on the ground.
  • The Texas A&M offense showed its explosiveness recording 10 rushes of 10-plus yards and completing five passes of 15-plus yards.
  • Texas A&M’s 15-play 99-yard scoring drive late in the second quarter was the longest scoring drive since going the same distance on eight plays against Alabama in 2018.

The Aggies will return to Kyle Field, hosting Bowling Green at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Volleyball goes 3-0 in Texas A&M Invitational
By finishing off the 2024 Texas A&M Invitational with a sweep of Louisiana, Jamie Morrison and the Aggies improved to 7-0 on the young season. In tying the third-best start in program history, the Maroon & White are the last undefeated team in the SEC.

The Aggies will head to Northern Iowa on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. CT.

Soccer drops final non-conference contest
The Texas A&M soccer team dropped its non-conference finale against the UConn Huskies Sunday afternoon at Morrone Stadium, 6-0.

The Aggies’ season-long three-match road trip finishes up with Thursday’s 7 p.m. match against the Missouri Tigers in Columbia.

Cross country takes second
The Aggie cross country team brought home a pair of second-place team finishes at the Texas A&M Invitational Friday morning at the Watts Cross Country Course.
