Football hosts McNeese State for non-conference battle

Soccer takes down TCU
A pair of goals in the 53rd and 59th minute were all Texas A&M needed to knock off TCU 2-0 at Ellis Field on Thursday night.

53’ | After controlling a ball sent down the left side of the field, MaKhiya McDonald dribbled through two Horned Frog defenders and buried a shot in the bottom right corner of the goal with her right foot from 10 yards out. A&M 1, TCU 0

56’ | Andersen Williams sent the ball up the left side to Mia Pante who made a move around the lonesome defender. Pante struck the ball from 16 yards out to the opposite post to score her second goal of the season. A&M 2, TCU 0
The Aggies return to Ellis Field Sunday for a 6 p.m. match against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
Volleyball hosts Texas State
Jamie Morrison’s Aggies are 3-0 heading into Friday’s 6:30 p.m. match against Texas State at Reed Arena.

Men’s golf kicks off season
Brian Kortan’s program will get underway this weekend at the Sahalee Players Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
