In a relentless quest to provide the best product possible, TexAgs is launching a new brand in a new studio on Monday morning.

The daily three-hour TexAgs Radio show hosted by David Nuño will be rebranded as TexAgs LIVE in a state-of-the-art studio.

“At TexAgs, we’re always looking on the horizon to push forward and challenge ourselves to put out an ever-improving, innovative product to our subscribers and Aggies,” TexAgs’ President & CEO Brandon Jones said. “We consider this new studio to be a big step in that effort to continue to build up the TexAgs brand and bring value to our audience and the Texas A&M community.”

The name change to TexAgs LIVE reflects the show’s growth since its debut in 2011 with Gabe Bock as host. The show now extends beyond radio as it can also be seen on television in the Brazos Valley and on various web products such as YouTube and TexAgs.com/Live.

“The reason for the name change is we feel like the show is already bigger,” Jones said. “The brand reflects that we’re a multimedia product.

“At the same time, the enhanced studio space provides us with endless possibilities for unique pieces of content that will allow TexAgs to continue being an industry leader well beyond our TexAgs LIVE programming.”

Located at the same office building as its predecessor, the upgraded studio provides a new home for TexAgs programs and podcasts. TexAgs moved into the previous space in the summer of 2013.

“We’ve made a big investment to really try to put together a studio that will allow us to hopefully progress for the next decade,” Jones said. “We want our content to look visually different from segment to segment with liberal use of screens.

“We want to brand each segment differently. The ‘GO Hour’ may be branded differently than Billy Liucci’s segments and podcasts.”

Liucci — TexAgs’ Co-Owner & Executive Editor and star of various podcasts — said the changes are an exciting example of continuing to move forward.

"From day one, we've taken pride in TexAgs being a trend-setter and innovator in the fan site space while never losing sight of continuing to invest in upgrading the product and user experience,” Liucci said. “That's what the new studio space and TexAgs LIVE is all about.

"The word 'excited' doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about the latest chapter. Stay tuned."

Nuño — who has hosted TexAgs Radio and podcast since 2021 — is looking forward to the possibilities the changes present.

“I am thrilled about the launch of our new state-of-the-art studio. TexAgs continues to elevate the experience for our subscribers and audience, delivering fresh, dynamic content that consistently sets the standard in our industry,” Nuño said. “Our show has evolved from a radio show with video elements to a full-fledged studio production that understands and embraces our origins. With my background in broadcast television, I can confidently say this new studio rivals those of national sports networks, ensuring we remain at the forefront of sports media."

The first episode of the refreshed TexAgs LIVE — presented by David Gardner’s Jewelers — will broadcast from the new Rollo Insurance Studio on Monday, Aug. 26, beginning at 8 a.m. CT.

For radio listeners in Bryan-College Station, the program can be heard on KZNE 1150AM/93.7FM, and Brazos Valley television viewers can tune in to The CW. A live stream of TexAgs LIVE will be carried on the TexAgs YouTube channel, while TexAgs Premium subscribers can find the same feed on TexAgs.com.
