Senior running back Christine Michael may start encouraging Texas A&M coaches to designate true freshman Trey Williams for a redshirt year. It may be the only way to keep Williams out of the Aggies’ starting lineup.

That’s a joke, of course.

But it’s no joke that Williams, as slippery as a wet bar of soap, again distinguished himself in A&M’s second open football scrimmage on Saturday at Kyle Field.
