Needing a field goal to force overtime, Randy Bond's 47-yard attempt was blocked and fell short as Texas A&M lost to No. 10 Ole Miss in Oxford, 38-35. Following the game, Jimbo Fisher, Ainias Smith and Edgerrin Cooper spoke to the media.

Jim is the head man, he hired and kept one of the worst OL coaches in college football. Look at what happened to the OL at Florida state.

We have one heck of a 5-4 team and at the end of the year it will be one heck of a 7-5 team. It was a meaningless game just like every game the remainder of the year. Can't wait for the year to be over so we can learn who our new coach will be.

The Defense and Special Teams, w/ one exception, did not show up today.
That's the immaturity and inconsistence that is killing us...along w/ the OL.
I really don't think the coaches know how or if that problem is even fixable.

...and Jimbo is not getting fired after this season... Lose to tu in Kyle Field at home in 2024 then all bets are off.

2024 season:
No Bama, no Ole Miss
12 team playoff expansion
tu at home - for the whorn Aggies
Easiest schedule? Sub Notre Dame at home for Bama but it's "favorable" but so was this season.

You don't need a slam dunk hire when you know Jimbo isn't going to get it done. Anyone will do because even a **** in the dark is better than continuing to shoot yourself in the foot. The guys playing the buyouts are the ones who wanted the raise and the extension and the guarantees. They volunteered to pay.

GTFO with this loser mentality of, "We can't let go of an 8-4 coach! We might get another one!" Even if the next guy goes 0-12, WGAS? Fire him too.

This loss should TOTALLY be on Jimblo for keeping the OLine coach after the 2022 season. The man has proven he CANNOT adapt/ adjust his schemes (particularly offense) to the strengths of the talent we have AND we're @ Year 6 under his tenure...smh...
