On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as football took a win from Auburn. In addition, Aggie volleyball and soccer are in the heat of SEC play.
Football
Texas A&M's defense shined on Saturday afternoon as the Fightin' Texas Aggies got off to a 1-0 start in conference with a 27-10 victory over the Auburn Tigers. A&M's defense held Auburn to just 200 yards of total offense and limited Hugh Freeze's passing attack to just 56 yards.

- Le’Veon Moss: 15 carries, 97 yards, 1 TD
- Ainias Smith: 5 catches, 78 yards
- Taurean York: 11 tackles, 0.5 sacks, 2 TFLs (York was named SEC Freshman of the Week)
- Edgerrin Cooper: 8 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 TFLs
The Aggies will now take on the 2-2 Arkansas Razorbacks at 11 a.m. on Saturday at AT&T Stadium. The game can be viewed on SEC Network.
Basketball
The Dallas Mavericks finalized their training camp roster Friday. The team announced the signing of Dexter Dennis, bringing their roster to 21 players.
Volleyball
Texas A&M volleyball fell to No. 16 Arkansas Sunday at Barnhill Arena, 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-18, 25-16).
The Aggies stay on the road as they travel to Gainesville, Florida, to face the Gators Wednesday, September 27 with first serve set for 6 p.m. CT.
Soccer
Texas A&M soccer came up short against the No. 11 Arkansas Razorbacks, 1-0, in Sunday night’s match at Ellis Field.
The Aggies return to Ellis Field for Friday’s 7 p.m. match against the Ole Miss Rebels.
Men’s Golf
The No. 17 Texas A&M men’s golf team will face its league foes, teeing off at the SEC Match Play hosted by Jerry Pate at the Country Club of Birmingham Monday through Wednesday.
Monday’s action begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Tee times start at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
